    This is regarding AL Physics MCQ question 49 -2021
    In my opinion the answer to question 49 is zero , which is not among the choices given.

    It says " The magnitude of the total force"
    When totalling the forces ,it has to be the vector addition of all forces.
    The vector addition of all forces acting all around is zero.(curved surface)
    Therefore the magnitude of the total force is zero.

    Average force x flat projected area may work for one half the curved area.
    I would be very much grateful if you could clarify.
